I write to thank you for your contribution to the Seniors Recreation Council of WA Ink’s “Digital Photo Workshop”. It was a pleasure to work with you and the feedback I have received from seniors in attendance has been extremely positive. The aim of this SRCWA Workshop in general was to encourage seniors to get out and be active with their cameras and start taking photos. One participant wrote “I thoroughly enjoyed it and learnt a lot of very valuable stuff, and it has reinvigorated my interest in photography.” I believe we have achieved our goal. Your delivery to the audience was spot on as was your relaxed and friendly approach during the hands-on sessions. I have no hesitation in recommending One Sky Photography to those who may have an interest in developing their photographic skills in the future. Once again thank you for your efforts and we look forward to working with you in the future.

Promote your local community and encourage your residents to explore their local area, make new friends and be inspired.
Photography workshops are a great way to bring residents together to explore the local area and to capture some great moments. One off workshops, or a series of lessons, can be arranged in the local area. Workshops are designed for beginners of all ages and can include photography competitions, culminating in an exhibition.
Exhibitions enable you to share the special places and special people that form your community. Competitions and exhibitions can be on a variety of themes including:
- People of my community. Great way of getting people to visit local businesses and residents and share photos of the special people that make up the community.
- Special places of my community. It’s not just the parks and natural reserves that make an area special. Community Centres, sports venues and local cafes can all make for some great images.
- Activities in my community. There’s so much going on in the local area from the local football game or dance class to less well known games and specialty sports that make for some great imagery.
We’ve arranged action photography lessons at Circus WA in Fremantle and the Ninja Academy in Osborne Park. Food Photography lessons have been organised at Little Creatures in Fremantle.
